Does anyone remember playing a dice game called GREED?
I'm trying to remember the exact rules. I know I'm confusing the rules a bit with Yahtzee and Kismit.
I think that there are variations of the game and the info they have at wiki is not the same way we used to play it.

A major difference was that you could get 3 of a kind in one roll but there was no bonus for 4 of a kind in one roll.

How it went for rolling a straight is unclear to me. I'm pretty sure that you could accumulate a straight, but I seem to remember if you rolled a straight in one throw you got a bonus. Either that or maybe you could only get a straight in one throw.

I haven't played this game since,oh,I guess the early 1980's. I do remember a time when we played all the time like older people played bridge or something.
Great party game.

I found this real old online GREED vid game but it uses 7 die (we used six) and you have to keep all die that were points, so I know that's not how we played. We played that you had to hold back at least one die for score but could roll away others if you wanted. I don't like this online version but It don't altogether suck. Its a little like the GREED I used to play.

Has anyone here played it and can you remember the rules you went by?

I've played so many dice and card games over the years, I can't remember them all. Both of my grandmothers were avid and very competitive card players. I can't remember not knowing how to play poker or gin rummy.

I do remember playing a six dice game where you didn't have to keep all the scoring die, but you didn't get to keep the points for the ones you rerolled.

Greed was a lil like that but much more fun with humans.
